Full-time Maintenance Mechanic - Two Positions Open
The Cortland Housing Authority has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic.
Must possess two years of full-time or its part-time equivalent experience of maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, heating, or electrical. This position requires a valid NYS Driver’s License. Salary is $36,400.00 annually plus additional on- call compensation. Excellent Benefits Package.

Full-time – Time Building Maintenance Supervisor
Cortland Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for a Building Maintenance Supervisor.
Applicants must possess (a) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, building or construction technology or related field and (4) four years of full-time paid or its part-time equivalent experience in one or more of the following areas: design, construction, maintenance, repair or inspection of buildings, related facilities or structural construction projects, at least (2) two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; OR (b) (c) (d) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s Degree in engineering, building or construction technology or related field and (6) six years of full-time paid or its part-time equivalent experience in one or more of the following areas: design, construction, maintenance, repair or inspection of buildings, related facilities or structural construction projects, at least (2) two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; OR High school diploma and eight (8) years of full-time paid or its part-time equivalent experience in one or more of the following areas: design, construction, maintenance, repair or inspection of buildings, related facilities or structural construction projects, at least (2) two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b) and (c) above.
Salary range from $70,000 to $80,000 plus fringe benefits.

Full-time – Time Tenant Relations Assistant
The Cortland Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for a Tenant Relations Assistant.
The position accepts applications, conducts interviews, property inspections, and determines eligibility for the CHA Public Housing and Section 8/HCV programs. work is performed in the CHA offices and out in the field at various sites.
Applicants must have a 2-year degree in Human Services or related field and 2 years’ experience involving interviewing, eligibility or substantial direct public contact or high school diploma/GED and 4 years of above experience. Salary of $32,800 plus fringe benefits.
