VACANCY - Maintenance Mechanics
The Cortland Housing Authority has an opening for 2 full-time Maintenance Mechanic positions.
Must possess two years of full-time or its part-time equivalent experience of maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical. This position requires a valid NYS Driver’s License. This position pays $21.00 per hour plus weekly on-call compensation and overtime. We have an excellent Benefit Package which includes 80 % of Health and Dental paid by employer; clothing allowance; vision allowance; paid time off includes vacation, sick, personal, and floating holidays, along with major holidays. This position is in the New York State Retirement System.

VACANCY – Leased Housing Coordinator
The Cortland Housing Authority currently has a vacancy for Leased Housing Coordinator. The position pays $23.00/hr. Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma AND five (5) years of full-time paid experience in a responsible human services position in a public or private human service or community agency. To be appointed to this position, the person must successfully pass the Civil Service test when it is offered.
